We started this project after watching countless habit apps reduce personal growth to a single number ticking upward, when the truth is that meaningful routines are built from layers — intentions, protocols, milestones, and reflection working together.
Our mission is to give people a private, personal operating system for their own development. Not a scoreboard, not a nagging notification, but an architecture you design yourself — one that holds every routine, protocol, and milestone with the same care you'd give a long-term project.

01 Information We Collect
We collect nothing. Ruby does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email address, does not request your location, and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. Every project, routine, protocol, milestone, checklist, timeline entry, and reflection note you create stays exactly where you made it: on your device.
02 How We Use Information
Because we don't collect any information, we have none to use, analyze, or sell. Every feature — from building routines and protocols to reviewing timelines and running consistency analytics — is calculated entirely on your device. Nothing you enter is ever transmitted to us or to anyone else.
03 Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. There is no cloud sync, no remote server, and no backend database tied to your projects, milestones, or reviews. If you don't back up your device yourself, your data exists only there.
04 Third-Party Services
Ruby does not integrate third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. There are no embedded tools quietly reporting on your usage. The app functions independently, without external services observing your activity.
05 Data Security
Because your information never leaves your device, there's no transmission to intercept and no external database to breach. Security, in Ruby's case, means simplicity: your data stays local, under the same protections your device already provides.
06 Children's Privacy
Ruby does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data collection occurs for any user, the app is compliant with COPPA by design.
07 Your Control
You are always in full control of your data. There are no accounts to manage and no cloud backups to request deletion from. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all associated data from your device, since nothing is stored anywhere else.
08 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or in applicable law. Any update will include a revised effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Ruby after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
